I’d take any bet that most of content creation/strategy woes (and woes in general; maybe even wars) would vanish if more people knew about the illusion of asymmetric insight: Thinking that you know more about another person’s reasoning that they know about yours.

Scaled up, you also believe this about the groups, cultures, and nations to which you belong – yours are nuanced and complicated, theirs are simple and transparent (and dumb).
