Copywriting is Interface Design

Jason Fried, in a post some weeks ago:

Since copywriting is interface design, you can do an awful lot of great design in a text editor.

Note how Jason leaves no room here: Copywriting is interface design. Not “part of interface design,” nor “a tool for helping design interfaces.”
